We have already reported that the Law Society has sent a pre-action protocol letter to the LSC challenging the lawfulness of its decision to proceed with the allocation of Family law contracts

I agreed that the LSC should take legal action. The LSC have for years got away with murder riding in roughshod over the legal providers, gambling that the legal profession are scared to bite the hand that feeds them

I agree too but I wanted them to take action over the SWL tender as well. I think the whole process needs to be looked at in light of today's news.
I am sure they can blame it on the last government and will as they have with their justification for wholesale cuts everywhere. Not that I am a cynic of course...
I agree that legal action is necessary. It has been tempting lately to give up and just continue to try and work with whatever crazy schemes the LSC come up with. I am glad to see someone trying to challenge them. The comments from the High Court yesterday were very encouraging.
