Thanks miriamm and thanks and welcome to ilegal tess
Do either of you, or anyone else have a link to get the court listings? Sure i saw it listed a few days ago- or it could have been another JR- or i could just be in such a state of confusion with whole thing that i dont even know my own name.
As Colin said previously, the listings are day by day so you might want to check whether it is down to be heard on Weds morning. You could always ring the court and ask about it too
I have tried to touch base with this firm and, unlike others who have come back to me, they have so far kept themselves to themselves so I can't really elaborate on any of the grounds above. The Gazette also seems to be pretty much in the dark despite the insinuation that they may be pursuing similar points to CLP, who were awarded a contract after the verification exercise (quite luckily for the LSC it would seem, as the Court did appear to very much support the firm's assertions in the JR at an early stage)

I did check yesterday on that link but the list had not been updated since last Friday. So what I don't know is what was heard in that court on Monday and Tuesday of this week. I had thought that the JR was being heard on Tuesday ie: yesterday. I am going to call the court later to try and find out.
The very helpful man at the M'ter Admin court told me that "that case was heard 2 and a half weeks ago". I said that I knew there had been a previous JR but thought there would be another one listed this week, he said "there's nothing listed this week like that at Manchester".
It seems to me that either our information was not quite right or the matter has been settled somehow out of court.

Not stupid at all. I missed the last few posts on this so let's recap; the FIRST DGL JR was just to get a deadline for their appeal. Tha was the one heard in Manchester three weeks ago and settled when LSC gave them a deadline of 30 Sept.
From subsequent reports in Solicitors Journal (I think) evidently DGL was not granted a contract on appeal and lodged a further JR raising the same issue as CLP on the upper tribunal criteria. That was listed for hearing AT THE RCJ in London on Tuesday 28 Sept (we stumbled on it in the Law Soc JR thread). It's that result which counts and which Patrick has been trying to get hold of given its implications if successful; the Manchester case is gone.
But all this is hearsay - does anyone out there have links with DGL and can they get the latest from the horse's mouth?
