They said they would and now they finally have. The new, diminished landscape of non-family civil providers broken down by area is available from the LSC on the individual tender pages.
Unsurprisingly, the LSC have had to qualify this information as follows: "Please note that contract validation is still ongoing and a number of contracts are yet to be issued, therefore these lists are subject to change.
For Debt, Housing and Welfare Benefits New Matter Start volumes have been included where the category is held and have been left blank where it is not.
Family and Family with Housing information has not been included at this time but we will publish this information after the next schedule extension.
For Immigration Removal Centre work and Housing Possession Court Duty Schemes, due to the timing of the appeals process, some providers have been issued with transitional contracts for 2 months. Therefore, not all outcomes of these tender processes have yet been finalised and we will publish lists of contract holders in the new year once the appeals process has completed and final awards confirmed."
Perhaps we should assemble a memorial page on this forum to the valiant suppliers of public legal help who, despite putting up a courageous fight, fell in the past 12 months.

The LSC have issued a further version of most of the final contract awards. The latest is dated 17 January and the text is as follows:
"Further to the updates published on 17 December we have today published a second iteration of the tender outcomes in all categories apart from mental health and public law where we are still reviewing responses received to the recent verification exercise. These replace the previous versions and reflect the majority of changes following verification. As previously, they are available on the individual tender pages for the relevant category of law."
So now anyone with time on their hands can work out exactly which suppliers, categories, regions etc were winners and losers.
