Hallo I know the question of when matters can be split regularly comes up. A year or two ago we read a LAG article on the topic but cant find it now - does anyone have access to it
Unfortunately Im looking for the specific article - our supervisor is doing some training and we remembered in the mists of our brain that the article was good - but now cant find it
If you know of any other good guides to splitting matters (particularly related to housing matters) that would be great - but we're not looking for an answer to a particular question.

Don't remember the article but do note that anything written 2 years ago is before all the goal-post exporting that happened in the Financial Stewardship manual (which remember does NOT have contractual status) and the PoP decisions on welfare benefits (which do).
Frankly matter-splitting is now a mess and everyone is trying their best to do the right thing but probably erring on caution and claiming less matters than we could - just as the LSC want it. There were some good ASA courses on maximising contract income in various categories within the rules a couple of years ago - check out their site for briefings.
