The Guardian is running a Cuts Watch site which maps the cuts in various areas including legal advice. Here is a link to the legal advice section today-may need some updating with the various cuts being notified to ilegal-link below. Maybe you want to update them Colin? PS note that they are citing ilegal as source for the legal advice cuts

Well spotted jman, but I think you may have stolen Patrick's fire!
Yes, they do indeed credit ilegal, and that's because last week our friends at the Guardian noticed that we were logging these, created a category for us and invited ilegalers to populate it. I started doing so at the weekend
I'll continue to keep an eye on this. To maintain consistency, I'd prefer it if any cuts or comments on them are posted in this section first as it gives those on the ground a chance to comment first so we can "fact check" the reports before they go onto the Guardian. As far as I can tell there is no way to edit a Cutswatch report once you've made it so it's best to discuss the cut on ilegal first to encourage accuracy.
Doing so also means we can encourage traffic to come from the Guardian site via the link back to ilegal which of course helps us spread the word on the fight to save legal aid.

Yes, we've been talking to Ros, the editor of Guardian Law, and were sitting on it just until we got some stuff on there. Anyway, it's out there now so let's get on filling it. I'll email the ilegal subscribers and we can take it from there. Good work Colin over the weekend
