After a depressing and farcical day in the Commons yesterday when a red faced Ken Clarke made some concessions and after a year and a half of ignorance, appeared finally to admit that, yes, social welfare law might after all contain points of law, the bill is back to the Lords for St George's Day and Shakespeare's birthday (life's little ironies) on 23 April.
Lord Bach is certainly not giving up against the dragon and the fight goes on. Can the Lords come up with further amendments to stop this evil bill ? Lord Bach :
