I agree, it would make a good article for our journalist friends. I've just got a few other things on the go but may well bring this to the fore!
Great to see a good dialogue going on the new site by the way.
Can't get how to @ Patrick though; works with everyone else!
You need to hover your mouse over someone's display name to see the actual @name you need to use to mention them properly - some people use a different display name to what their actual registered name is
My name is "@ admin", but without a space. It's automatic and the price you pay for creating the forum, unfortunately

Hi nickd (Mylegal) you can experiment with where you insert the image and continue the text to get similar effects - you don't necessarily need to place image links and text on separate lines, for example. Then edit the post where it doesn't look right
In the case of the Portugal protest piece, it was mainly a matter of copy/pasting those elements of the web page in one go with a little bit of fiddling afterwards - the way ilegal is coded now, and providing you paste in 'Visual', means that formatting of most web pages is preserved on paste. Not always the case of course, much depends on how the original page is set up including HTML objects and so on
Worth remembering also that if pasting from a Word document it is better to paste after preparing your draft using the BBCode button (bottom left of the draft whilst writing) instead of Visual. This stops the paste bringing over lots of artefacts from the Word document that can totally mess up what you're doing
