A supplier local to me believes they hold the record for delayed appeal results:
Disqualification at PQQ stage notified - 13 July Appeal (pointing out that LSC had misread submission) - 14 July Successful appeal result (after several prompts) and scoring of ITT bid - 26 November (the supplier still did not attain sufficient points to win a contract however)
Can't beat that but this may be of interest to you ?
After several months we received a letter saying our appeal over employment was successful ( see earlier). Much cheering. Two days later we received a letter signed by someone different saying the other person at the LSC had made a mistake in his judgement and the appeal was actually unsuccessful. Much anguish. A couple of days later we received a last minute contract giving us a lot more SWL NMSs than we had been told we would get ( all we had bid for). Much disbelief followed by stiff drinks all round.
Then of course Ken Clarke made his announcement a couple of days after that....
