Mental Health

The calculation of NMS will be based on historic 2006-2007 levels as per other categories affected by the introduction of graduated fees.

Agencies must not exceed their NMS award. If an agency considers that it requires an increase to its NMS award the issue should be raised with the Account Manager. NMS awards may be increased only where local needs and priorities allow.

Pre 1st January 2008 work will be governed by the provisions of the Unified Contract Specification in force from 1 April 2007 and shall be paid at a providers hourly rates as detailed in their current Office schedule/s.

In light of graduated fees becoming effective on 1st January 2008, further mental health information will be published for the voluntary sector in the near future.
