The Advice Services Alliance has launched a survey on "fixed fees - the first three months" in order to "make representations on behalf of NfP agencies"
The survey was issued through the CLS Support email bulletin. If you would like to take part in the survey but do not have the information then please contact CLS Support directly on cls.support@asauk.org.uk
For your information, the text of the cover letter is reproduced below:
Dear Colleague
We attach an ASA survey on “fixed fees – the first three months”. We urgently need evidence about how the LSC NfP transitional provisions are working to enable us to make representations on behalf of NfP agencies. We suggest that the person responsible for managing the LSC contract should complete it.
We appreciate that you have just been asked for similar information by the LSC. We are sorry to be asking you for some of the same information but we need to know directly from agencies about how they are faring under the new regime.
We have tried to tailor our questions to match those asked by the LSC.
However, we have also asked detailed information about: • categories of law • regions • network membership so that we can see if there are any patterns. For example, if employment solicitors in the North East Region are having a particularly hard time it would be useful to know that.
We will keep the identity of all agencies confidential. You do not have to complete questions 3 - 8 of Section A, but it would help if you did.

The findings from the ASA survey - and an important message from ASA about the transition process - are now available and were distributed as a CLS Support email bulletin (number 6)
